Language Help!
Hey Guys!

I have a sort of time sensitive problem that I need some help with.

My friend is here visiting from the States and staying in a very small ryokan in Chidori-Cho [off the Ikegami Line in Tokyo] where they speak very VERY limited English.

She lost her wallet the other day, and proceeded to cancel her credit cards, and therefore the card number that she provided the hotel with will no longer function. We can't seem to explain to them that we need to give them only a new card NUMBER and that we don't have the card for them to swipe... and she needs to check out early tomorrow morning! She obviously doesn't want to leave without paying... and my Japanese isn't quite at the level to be able to explain this problem to them and/or understand what they're trying to say back to me.

Help!!!!
